Is Annie 'n Pooches licensed, insured and bonded?

Yes, Annie ‘n Pooches is fully licensed, insured & bonded by 

Profur Insurance, the leading insurance provider for pet care professionals in Canada.

Who will take care of your pet?  

Your pet will be taken care of by Annie herself. 

Where will your dog walk?

Your pooch will be walked in your neighborhood & a nearby park (if there's any). No off-leash parks.

Are the walks private or in a group?

Annie ‘n Pooches walks are always on-leash & private. Up to 2 dogs can be walked at once, as long as both dogs are from the same household.

Dogs from different households will not be walked together.

Other than dog walking, is there any other service?

Yes, Annie 'n Pooches provides also Pet Visits for dogs, cats & small animals, House Check when you're travelling, mail retrieving, plants watering.  Whatever you need, talk to Annie.

​Can Annie train your dog ?  

Annie ‘n Pooches is not a dog training service. The walks are for the pooches enjoyment, so they can sniff as much as they want & they can choose their own route for walks. If your dog is being professionally trained, the continuing training is your professional dog trainer’s responsibility.

Are the dogs walked in any weather?

Yes, unless you specify weather conditions you do not want your pooch to be walked, or any weather condition your dog doesn't like being out. Also, Annie may shorten some walks, due to extreme weather conditions, either during Winter or Summer, for your pooch's safety & well-being. 

What would Annie do if your pet got hurt?

If an emergency situation arises, Annie will do her best to contact you immediately, or your emergency contact. If Annie cannot contact anyone, she will decide on your behalf & take your pet for immediate medical care. In an emergency time is of the essence & cannot be wasted. Evidently, the pet's owner is responsible for paying the emergency vet bill.

Where are your personal information & keys kept?

Annie 'n Pooches' clients privacy is extremely important & your privacy will always be protected. Your keys & any personal information are kept safely & Annie is the only one with access to them.

Things you need to provide for the walks & visits (according to your pet needs):

Food for your pet, treats, bowls, a good size towel (left by the front door) for rainy or snowy days, collar with updated tags, coat (if your dog needs it), muzzle (if needed), litter box for your cat, litter, medication (if needed) & cleaning supplies (in case Annie needs to clean up any pet accident inside your house).

Best time to book any service?

As soon as possible.
